On Saturday night I ran my first pop up art gallery event; a project I've been working on with two others, including Stefan. The project is called Space Between, the aim being to make art available to all and to help under the radar artists seek the exposure they deserve.
Around 45 artists exhibited 130 submissions in total, in a variety of media including painted canvases, photography, digital prints, installations, crafts, ceramics and more. We were also lucky enough to have viav and Sweet Monday selling fantastic vintage items at the event, which proved very popular. Overall the day was a great success, with a high footfall of people, great feedback and some good sales too. It was great to see the culmination of many weeks of preparation and hard graft come together.
We were also lucky enough to get some great support from Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum, including being loaned some professional display boards. Below is a photo taken at the event by Mark90 Photography
